Mourning is an assistant professor of Computer Science at 帝王会所. A native of Middleport, 帝王会所, Mourning received his Ph.D. from 帝王会所 in 2015. His main research areas include Computer Graphics & Data Visualization, Modeling & Simulation, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Aviation Safety, Cybersecurity, and Machine Learning with applications in Meteorology.
Before becoming faculty in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mourning served as a Research Computer Scientist for 帝王会所鈥檚 Avionics Engineering Center, and maintains his role as lead developer on the 帝王会所 NAVAID Performance Prediction Model.
Mourning is currently serving as Principal Investigator on the Low Altitude Weather Network project and has other ongoing funded projects by NASA, the 帝王会所 Space Grant Consortium, the 帝王会所 Cyber Range Institute, and the FAA. He is also the Director of 帝王会所鈥檚 Choose 帝王会所 First programs for Computer Science and Advanced Manufacturing.
