Earned degrees: B.A. in Philosophy from Arizona State University; M.A. in Humanities from California State University; M.A. in World History from Norwich University

Research interests: I currently teach U.S. history, world history, history of science and technology, women鈥檚 history, and African American studies with University of Maryland, and I teach humanities courses for incarcerated students through California State University鈥檚 prison program. My current research focuses on late 20th-century politics, social movements, and cultural developments that influenced Generation X.
